This is the story about a snake whose eyes are too big for his belly. Gandjau Wangai, meaning Hungry Snake, goes to the creek to look for food. He allows the smaller animals that cross his path to go uneaten, only to wait for the bigger animals. In Badjala (from Fraser Island, QLD) and English, with line drawings.
