PLP Audio Books for Younger Learners
PLP’s Children’s titles can be used for a range of children and some teenagers with reading difficulties. Children and teenagers who are learning English as a Second Language, and also younger reluctant readers in schools may find these titles interesting. The slow speed audio supplementation means they can get through the book without help. Fiction ranges from the poetry and rhyme section, the simple Red Nose Readers through to ‘Madeline and the Gypsies’, the beautiful ‘Candlewick Book of Fairy Tales’ (used by adults with an intellectual disability) and the new SOLO ‘What’s in the River?’ Non-Fiction includes the  the Pumpkin Hollow Series and the more basic First Flaps, First Facts Series.
