Our Organisation
People Learn Productions (formerly Narkaling Inc) produces award winning high quality audio cassette book kits with multiple speed narration for adults and children whoe need extra forms of information access. Students who are developing English language and literacy skills also benefit from our kits.
PLP also publishes Easy to Read ReadON print series which include multiple formats and can be used by all students.
Our audio kits differ from the usual audio book because: a copy of the printed book always accompanies the recordings and multiple speed narration is included in most kits.
The multiple speed narration and extra print contents give studens access to the information and also the choice of speed of narration. PLP kits were designed to be accessed by all people specially for people with disabilities and learning difficulties.
PLP is supported by the Australian Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. Lotterywest, Libraries and Librarians around Australia and the Midland Local Council.
